TRI-MAX® OPERATIONAL DESIGN FEATURES

The TRI-MAX® "High-Energy Cold Foam" and "Twin Agent" technology is the powerful core of the Crash Rescue arsenal. These TRI-MAX® units are fire fighting workhorses, engineered for effectiveness and adaptability. This series offers a choice of Cold Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS), or the combination of CAFS together with Encapsulated Dry Chemical. Structurally designed with flexibility in mind, these custom configured units will easily "skid" install into the back of a wide variety of small truck models, instantly converting them into fast-attack fire response vehicles. These TM units have proven ideal for military installations, small airports, and industrial complexes. The TRI-MAX® series is a perfect fit in critical situations where speed counts and where light, maneuverable firefighting vehicles give your team a clear tactical advantage.

There are a variety of model choices, based on the units agent capacity. The Twin Agent Models (CAFS and Dry Chem capability, dual nozzles) are: TM-280, TM-5100, TM-5150, TM-5300. The Single Agent Units (having CAFS Only) are: TM-60, TM-80, TM-100, TM-120, TM-150, TM-240, TM-300, as well as a vertical mounted Tri-Max to fit EMT compartments (or wall mounted in a facility).

The power behind the RMT is our Cold Compressed Air Foam System...Cold compressed air is injected into the premixed liquid creating a turbulent mixture of millions of tiny, tightly packed, extremely cold bubbles while still inside the turret supply line. When this foam reaches the RMT nozzle it is already a dense, freezing cold foam, ready to smother a flame, cool down an area below ignition temperature, or to protect an exposure. Our CAFS technology produces four (4) times the foam of conventional systems, allowing a serious fire fighting advantage.

The TRI-MAX® system delivers "Twin Agent" technology by combining Encapsulated Dry Chemical technology together with Cold Compressed Air Foam. This patented Hydro-Chem nozzle coordinates with the CAF System on the TRI-MAX® to effectively deliver the dry powder through "encapsulation". The weatherproof, dry chemical is completely surrounded with cold Compressed Air Foam as it dispenses. This unique nozzle allows for controlled, extended projection of this dry agent onto a pressure fire or flowing fuel fire, giving your firefighters the capability of precisely and effectively targeting the source.

The manual Hose Reel has a 100 ft, 1" hand line (single line for CAFS or duel for Twin Agent). An optional side-storage tray holds another 1+1/2" pre-connected CAFS hand line. The CAFS lines can preventively vapor-seal fuel spills, keeping them below ignition temperatures, as the second hand line is used to simultaneously attack the source of the flames.
