Snozzle Options

 

Piercing Nozzle:  An independent auxiliary nozzle with a piercing applicator shall attach to the telescoping boom to provide remote controlled penetrating capability.  A high tensile steel tip shall provide a spray pattern with 250 gpm [950 lpm] or more flow.  The piercing nozzle shall have the capability to provide a separate water/foam discharge with selector switch labeled "Pierce/Volume". The tip shall be removable and provide a 1 1/2" [38mm] hose connection to allow a handline to be extended from the tip for standpipe operations.

 

 

 

Software System "part task" Training Simulator:  This training device shall be intended to focus solely on the extendable turret operation through the appropriate use of the joystick controls.  The system shall include:

·                    Software package to be downloaded on the end users PC.

·                    The actual joystick controls and switches suitable to duplicate functions of the extendable turret.  These shall be identical to the controls used on the ARFF vehicle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Winterization:  Waterline Insulation

 

Halotron System:  Piped to piercing nozzle with check valve, 1" hose and spring reel (Model 652 has piping to piercing nozzle instead of hose and reel).  Connects to OEM supplied Halotron System.

Dry Chemical System:  Encapsulated dry chemical nozzle with 1 1/2" hose and spring reel (Model 652 has piping to nozzle instead of hose and reel).  Minimum 12 lb./sec. flow rate and connects to OEM supplied dry chemical system.

Converter:  24-volt to 12-volt converter for Snozzle functions.

 

F.L.I.R. Ball:  Infrared camera mounted to the tip nozzle for size-up and rescue operations.

 

Color Camera:  Fixed lens or zoom camera mounted to nozzle.

 

 

DVR Recorder:  2-Channel or 4-Channel digital video recorder.  Vibration mount and removable 160 Gb hard drive.
